It's (Finally) Official!

Well after 3 long years it's finally official! Jeff is done, done, done with his MBA! Even though he finished his classes in December and received the diploma in February, Graduation Ceremonies were not until May 16-17. (Talk about delayed gratification!) Thanks to Jeff's mom & dad for joining us for the splendid event. We're so proud of Jeff for all his hard work and so happy to have him around more! Garrett especially enjoyed yelling as loud as could when it was daddy's turn to walk and we had lots of fun waving to dad (until the ornery lady behind us decided my hand was to high and HIT it down--no kidding!) Luckily the people in front of us liked Garrett's enthusiasm and were equally boisterous when it was their turn. With his parents and Garrett. We had lots of "fun" trying to figure out how to put on that darn Master's hood. Much to his mom's dismay, Jeff wasn't concerned with getting any honors cords to wear, even though with a 3.9 GPA he probably could have. (We really are proud of you Jeff!) I was thankful we didn't have to negotiate cords along with that hood though!

Garrett's second favorite part of the day (after the unrestrained shouting) was obviously the yummy cake! After all, it was his idea and he picked it out himself when he was at Costco with Grandma & Grandpa. Garrett always tries to come up with a reason for us to get one of those huge Costco cakes when we're there and he finally found one! (Being there with Grandma & Grandpa didn't hurt his efforts at all either!)
