For the last 3 years we have gotten together with a group of friends for an Easter Egg Hunt on the Saturday before Easter. The group grows a little each year with expanding families. This year there were over 200 eggs hidden and we had to divide the kids into older and younger groups. One thing that doesn't change--it's always cold! Last year it was snowing and this year it was freezing rain. In spite of the crazy and uncooperative weather, it's always a lot of fun!
After the hunt, we all descend on Moe's for lunch. We practically fill the place, so it's fun to watch the expressions on the faces of the one or two families who are also there for lunch.
In case you're wondering why the pumpkin...?
We had our home inspection that day and had moved some things around downstairs. Of course I didn't realize we had barricaded the cupboard where the baskets were until it was time to leave for the hunt. So Garrett gathered his Easter eggs in his trick or treat pumpkin!

Garrett posed for one picture after the hunt and then begged to get back in the car! He was frozen!
