(Pre)School's Out! Scream & Shout!

(Just a little HSM2 reference for our fellow fans!) With the song "What Time Is It?" (SUMMERTIME!) blasting in the van, we drove home from St. David's after Garrett's last day of preschool. Although we had made a big deal about it being summertime, we were all very sad to see the preschool year end. It has been such an incredible year for Garrett. Jeff and I have constantly been amazed at the new things he's learning and the way that he's learning them. He had so much fun with his fabulous teachers and getting to know the other kids. Some of his favorite things about preschool were his teachers, playing with his friends, the calendar, getting a turn to bring home the snack bucket and/or George (the mascot), and of course so much more! One of my favorite things was hearing stories about what Garrett was like without us around. Stories like Garrett and Cassidy getting married on the playground! Apparently he wasn't too sure what the whole thing was all about--his explanation was that Cassidy wanted to play wedding, so he and Jack did--there's still confusion about what role Jack played. There was also a "break dancing" (Ms. Kathy's description) incident involving him and 2 other boys performing for some of the girls in the class! Seriously? Garrett? At P/T conferences, Ms. Kathy had nothing but good things to say about him. We are very proud of our sweet boy and so happy that he had such a fun and wonderful year! We are so grateful he has been able to attend school there and can't wait for him to go back in the fall for another great year!
