2 years ago, Santa brought Garrett a set of GeoTrax trains. He liked them of course (he was obsessed with trains at the time), but didn't really play with them unless Jeff was playing with him. We eventually got tired of all the space they took up and packed them away. Last month, some friends, Owen and Wyatt, were coming over for the day while their mom was having a baby. I figured it would be a good time to get out something "new" and big for all of them to play with. Well, since then the GeoTrax have been out almost everyday. Garrett can't get enough of them. He loves building different tracks over and over. Who would've guessed?! The day after Christmas he was so desparate to have enough room for his GeoTrax, he asked if we could put all the presents away and proceeded to carry everyone's presents up to their rooms. (This took him about 15 trips up and down the stairs.) One of the tracks he built stretched from the front of our house to the back. Several of his tracks have had a gap in the track for the train to go over the "polar ice caps". (Thank you "Polar Express" for that idea.) He repeatedly builds trains out of his legos and magnetix too. I really thought we were done with trains but obviously I was wrong.
