Last night the forecast said "chance of snow." Finally! Our first snow this winter. Garrett ran into our room this morning-early!-and announced the arrival of the much anticipated snow. He bolted down the stairs, put on his coat and was trying to fit his shoes on over his feety pajamas by the time I stumbled down the stairs. In spite of my grogginess, his excitement was contagious. I finished bundling him up--it was FREEZING outside--and grabbed the camera. He couldn't wait to shovel the snow so he started on the driveway in the back and ended up in front. The sun wasn't even up when he started and by the time it was, the snow was practically gone. Garrett summed it up when he made the comment, "Too bad there's not enough snow for a snowball mom." Oh well, he still a great time.
